Located in the Independent Living Private Dining Room (must sign in at the front desk)

The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri presents a Caregiver Support Group every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. This support group is designed to help individuals living with dementia and their care partners build a strong support system with people who understand their struggles. The group is facilitated by trained professionals who provide a safe environment for participants to exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions, discuss issues and ways of coping, and share their feelings, needs, and concerns. In addition, the support group provides an opportunity for participants to learn about community resources that can help them navigate the challenges of caring for someone with dementia.

Joining this support group can help individuals and their care partners feel less alone and better equipped to manage the complexities of living with dementia.
